Rueben Jennings is the Virgin Islands Port Authority's Human Resources Assistant. In this capacity, Rueben coordinates and conducts the recruitment process, conducts employee training, and represents the Authority on various employee initiatives. Since joining the Virgin Islands Port Authority, Rueben has been actively involved in initiating special projects such as employee computer training. Due to his planning, directing and managing skills, Rueben is often assigned additional tasks outside his scope of duties such as providing technical and accounting support. Rueben's professional background is diverse. Prior to joining the Virgin Islands Port Authority, Rueben served in the United States Air Force. He has also worked for Alpha Value Worldwide Inc. and Home Depot. As an active member of his church, Rueben serves as an active choir member. Rueben holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of the Virgin Islands and an Associate's degree in Electronic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force. Rueben is married and has two sons.
