Dr. Kyle Lemari is a Physician with the Ministry of Health in Majuro, Marshall Islands, where he has been serving since 2019. In his role, Dr. Lemari diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions, manages chronic illnesses, and oversees the Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) clinic and community health programs. He is dedicated to building and leading a cohesive NCD team to deliver effective, evidence-based healthcare services.
Before becoming a physician, Dr. Lemari worked as a nurse from 2014 to 2016 at the Ministry of Health, where he served as a shift supervisor and managed patient care. His experience as a nurse, which required frequent interaction with patients, greatly influenced his compassionate approach to healthcare as a doctor.
Dr. Lemari holds a Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree from Ishou University in Taiwan, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maine, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from the College of Marshall Islands. He is also a proud graduate of Xavier High School in Chuuk, FSM.
Inspired by his grandfather, a Medex who ran a community clinic, Dr. Lemari developed a passion for community health early in life. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, promoting health awareness within his community, swimming, watching movies, and drawing.
