Kacey Nicole Iloilo serves as a deputized enforcement officer at the American Samoa Environmental Protection Agency. In this role, she safeguards the island territory’s natural resources and ensures public health through enforcement and by promoting environmental education, particularly in the management of solid waste.
Kacey is actively involved in her community through her volunteer work. She serves as a Board Member for Finafinau, a local nonprofit organization that empowers teenage youth through environmental ambassadorship and mentorship opportunities. She also volunteers for the annual Moso’oi Festival of Arts & Humanities, where she leads the festival’s media team. Her passion for art and Samoan culture fuels her dedication to these community initiatives.
Kacey holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Studies from Chaminade University of Honolulu. She firmly believes that leadership can emerge from any position as long as one has the courage to lead.
