Current Status of EconMAP FAS Statistics

Covid -19 has impacted timetables for publication of the economic statistical datasets in all three freely-associated states. Current status and timelines follow below:

Republic of the Marshall Islands

FY20 preliminary statistics have been published. Publication of final FY20 statistics are pending completion of government audits which are delayed a a result of Covid-19.

Federated States of Micronesia

FY19 statistics have been delayed due to Covid-19 and the population census impacting data validation. Delays to FSM state and national government single audits have also impacted the publication timeline.

Republic of Palau

FY20 statistics require additional methodological review due to the large impact of Covid-19 on the structure of the economy. This work is underway. Delays to the Palau single audit have also impacted the publication timeline.
