The Graduate School USA’s Pacific Islands Training Initiative (PITI) has released preliminary Fiscal Year 2011 Economic Reviews for the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau. As part of its Economic Monitoring and Analysis Program (EconMAP), the Graduate School works annually to provide economic and policy reviews for each of the two freely associated states. Concurrent efforts are currently underway to provide similar support to the Republic of Palau.

The annual economic reviews include such indicators as GDP, GDP per capita, employment, inflation, external debt ratios, consolidated revenues and expenditures and outmigration estimates. In addition, the annual reviews cover annual policy developments and trust fund performance.
