Julie K. Sigrah

Julie is currently employed by the Kosrae State Government of the Federated States of Micronesia as the Administrator for the Kosrae Visitor Bureau. Julie supervises two employees who work with her on all tourism related matters. Some of these responsibilities include distributing information of interest to tourists and developing guides and tools for visitors. In addition, Julie develops the yearly budget and submits the annual and quarterly reports. Before working for the Kosrae Visitor Bureau, Julie worked as the Staff Economist for Kosrae State Government under the Department of Resources and Economic Affairs (DREA). As Staff Economist, Julie works with both the Export and the fisheries team in Kosrae in order to understand what needs to be improve in the Department. Julie attended University of Hawaii at Hilo from 2002 to 2007, where she received her B.A degree in Economics. Like all other participants, Julie has a lot of work responsibilities and is committed to the program.
